Our Story

 

Hi, I’m Kathryn. 

Growing up, the scent of olive oil and fresh herbs was always in the air. My dad’s family immigrated from Italy in the early 1900's, and olive oil was in nearly every recipe and room of our house. After years of working at the post office and gardening, my father's hands were rough and dry, and no commercial soap seemed to help. So, he decided to make his own, out of olive oil, of course.  After several attempts, he created a soap that kept his skin soft and moisturized, and he’s never used anything else since. Presently, my father's hands are still smoother than most anyone's I know!

When I was looking for a natural baby wash for my first child, My dad's olive oil soap was the only product I found that didn't make me nauseous!   It was a relief to finally feel good about what I was using on my baby.  Now I use it on both of my kids, and they love how it smells and feels. One night, at bath time, one of the granddaughter’s held a bar of my dad's soap in her hands and declared it "Papa Soap."

Inspired by my dad’s soap, I began making more natural products at home. Now, I’m thrilled to offer a line of natural, handmade bath and body products. I love sharing my products, and I can’t get enough of how the natural oils smell and feel on my skin.  As an educator and mother of two, I am passionate about sharing these products with other families who are craving natural healing for their skin.  I know your skin and your senses will enjoy your experience!
